Burj Dubai official opening date

The Burj Dubai has a new “official” opening date of 02 December 2009, at least, according to an “exclusive” report from Arabian Business. This “official” opening date according to them comes from an anonymous senior architect on the Burj Dubai. So why would someone drawing pictures know what the Burj Dubai opening date was? And how does an anonymous comment become an “official” statement? Arabian Business did not publish any sort of confirmation from the developer, Emaar Properties. Seems to be just another report joining the list competing for the guess-the-opening-date-of-the-burj-dubai lottery.

Update: Official opening date for the Burj Dubai was announced on 05 November 2009 (by WAM) as 04 January 2009.
